This was such a special newborn session for me because just two and half years ago, I photographed a newborn baby girl for this family and this time around, it was a beautiful baby boy for me to photograph. We had so much fun together and I loved seeing big sister loving her new baby brother.  I also loved that mom wanted to recreate an image that we did of sister when she was a baby. Here is the side by side:

How fun is that? Deanna and Jason, thanks for sharing your beautiful family with me. You are so blessed.

In the spirit of Halloween and all things scary, our theme for project 26 is spooky. I realize to some, spiders are not spooky, but to me they are, especially when they have decided to take up residence right outside my front door. I appreciate all that this spidey does to eliminate flies and other bugs around our home, but I just wish this eight legged creature could build a home that isn’t in my eyesight each time I open my front door.

It doesn’t get any better than this…a beautiful family that recently welcomed twins. There was so much love in that house and I loved every second I spent with all of them. The big brother is as cute as can be and loves his new brother and sister so much! Emily & Tom, thanks for allowing me to capture this most special of times in your life. You are very blessed.

What an honor to photograph this beautiful high school senior. She radiates such beauty and kindness. I had the pleasure of photographing her big sister just a few years ago and it was so great to have her join us on our shoot. We dodged lots of rain drops and drove towards the sun, but it is totally worth it and so much fun!

Oh, this little guy was so sweet and adorable to photograph. I loved watching his curiosity and inquisitiveness at the leaves & grass. I love this age so much!

My littlest and I had so much fun at the park with Sheriff Woody. I just adore observing my children in their element–playing, exploring and creating.
