August 30, 2012

I have said this before, but I feel so blessed when clients invite me to come back and photograph their children as they grow. This sweet boy made his debut with me at just a few weeks old and now to see him as this adorable, energy-filled two-year old is so special. What a beautiful family filled with love for each other. Kristie and Joe, thanks for a wonderful session; it was a gorgeous night for photos.

The word strength is our prompt for Project 26.  I decided to take a humorous route and photograph Jack becoming Superman with all of his amazing strength.

When I arrived at this location for a beautiful family session, I found paradise. The opportunities to photograph are endless. Despite some rain in the beginning, the skies opened up just in time for capturing this lovely family in their gorgeous surroundings.

Thanks so much Lee, Joe, Colleen, David and the rest of the family for making me feel so welcome in your home. I enjoyed every moment with all of you!

A highlight of our summer is heading to Crescent Beach and spending the day with our family at the Mills’ Family cottage. The kids love being with their cousins–exploring, swimming, and boating. This year, tubing was the big hit! And, Sailor–the Mills’ puppy was a new addition to our time together.

Our creative prompt for project 26 is through the window. It is so interesting to me how different things look when there is glass between you and your subject. This seems to be the summer of dressing up for Jackson. He loves his Spiderman costume! And look at Luke giving me a smooch through the door window.  Continue through our circle of amazing photographers–your first stop is my very talented friend, Misty Setzler | Lubbock, TX Photographer.
