Archive for December, 2011

Of course, Christmas is all about spending time with family and cherishing moments together so our theme for this last week in December is family. I decided to take a lighthearted approach to this theme and share some outtakes of our Christmas card shoot back in November. I think the outtakes tell the story so much better. I have decided that next year, I am going to have a filmstrip of outtakes posted on the back of my card.

I am so happy that I captured these moments from our Christmas season 2011. I look forward to making these images into a book. Here are the last few days.

Enjoy this most beautiful holiday with your families.

We all love having the tree up and the special glow it puts into the holidays.

Friday, the boys had their Christmas concert at school. It was bittersweet this year because it is Sean’s last year participating as the concert is for grades EK-3rd. They both did a wonderful job!

Santa was a big part of our weekend.

Each year on the Saturday before Christmas, Santa drives through our neighborhood on a fire truck. The firefighters stop at the house, if you are outside, and pass out candy canes. It is definitely one of the highlights of our Christmas season.

Here are my images for the past two days.

Today we worked on a Santa puzzle.

How fun is it that mom & dad have no idea that these photos of their beautiful children have been taken? Grandma planned this photo shoot as a surprise for her daughter & son-in-law for Christmas. These faces are irresistible…those brown eyes with the blond hair–a photographer’s dream!

Diane, I hope you enjoy this sneak peek. I’ll be in touch real soon.

Playing catch up with my December daily photos.
